Mariachi Los Amigos (México)

Mariachi los amigos was founded in poland in 1998 to promote the tradition of Mexican music.

Carlos Martinez Anaya (Violin, Singer.) Born in Mexico City, graduated from the National Conservatory Music School in Mexico. He did a Speciality in Chamber Music in European Mozart Foundation studying with Gabor Takacs Nagy, Aurele Nicolet and in the Humanity Faculty with Krysztof Zanussi, Krysztof Penderecki among others. He did a postgraduate in Violin in the Chopin Academy in Warsaw.

Jesus Estrada Guzman (Guitarron, Vihuela, Guitar, Violoncello, Harmonica, Singer.) He was born in the main core of the Mariachi Music Tradition: Guadalajara Jalisco, since he was very young he showed a strong interest in Music, He enrolled to the Music Academy in Guadalajara, focussing in education in vocational training in Music. He's been part of several productions and recordings of different artists in Guadalajara.

Gabriel Hernandez Rizo Vihuela (Guitar,Flute transverse, Singer) He was born in Jalapa Veracruz, He's started his musical studies with Master Ricardo Madrid, Performing as well with the Young Orchestra D.I.F. in Jalapa Veracruz. Later on he moved to Guadalajara Jalisco, Keeping the Contact with traditional Mexican Music, He enrolled to the Music Academy in Guadalajara, focussing in Flute Transverse studying with the Master Christian Nazzy. He became the first flute in the Guadalajara Symphonic Orchestra working with a  important Bands from Guadalajara suc as Romance Mexicano and Santa Lucia.

Rei Ceballo (Cuba)


Rei Ceballo is from Santiago de Cuba, where he studied piano and cello. In 1986 he moved to Havana, where he improved his skills studying with masters like Ruben Gonzales. In his search for new sounds he formed the band Azucar Negra, which became very popular in Cuba. In 1996 Reinaldo started to cooperate with Sierra Maestra group. His compositions and music arrangements from that period can be heard in the soundtrack "Salsa" a film by Joyce Sherman Buñuel. Luis Buñuel's grand daughter. Reinaldo Ceballo has performed concerts in the United States, France, Italy, UK, Belgium and the Netherlands. In the early 2000 he moved to Poland where he founded "Calle Sol" a succesful Salsa Orchestra. He has worked with many distinguished artist of the Polish musical scene.
